Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style Tour! In your voucher it will be indicated the point and time at which we will pick you up to start the tour. We leave around 8.30 to UCLÉS, the formidable set formed by the Castle, the Church and the Monastery, also called El Escorial de la Mancha (entrance included). After breakfast we head to the Sacred Convent and Castle of CALATRAVA LA NUEVA (visit included), headquarters of the Order of Calatrava, founded in the twelfth century in the Kingdom of Castile, powerful lands, villas and fortresses, we will visit its patios, towers, wineries and enjoy the views offered by the place. We continue to VILLANUEVA DE LOS INFANTES, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, spiritual focus of La Mancha in the Golden Age, where Francisco de Quevedo died. We will find a large number of buildings of great historical value that have been developed for centuries by the Military Order of Santiago and that give it its majesty. Continuation to MANZANARES, where the church of the Assumption stands out, from the sixteenth century with its beautiful plateresque façade. We can also enter the Castle of Pilas Bonas, a medieval fortress recovered for the current use. We are in the center of one of the regions that produce more wine in Spain, shall we try it? time for lunch.
We continue to PUERTO LÁPICE, where we will visit the Posada de Don Quijote. According to legend, Cervantes may have been inspired here to write the passage in which the Ingenious Hidalgo is knighted. We continue our way to CONSUEGRA, which arises in the plain of La Mancha to delight us with one of the most beautiful prints of our country. Visit included to the castle of the thirteenth century, banner of the Order of San Juan de Jerusalem and headquarters of the Priory of Castile of the same order, with its 3 defensive enclosures. If something characterizes Consuegra is the image of the world-famous windmills, we will imagine the battle of Don Quixote against them and we will be able to know (tickets included) the operation of the machinery to turn wheat into flour.
